The Most Subscribed-To YouTube Channels
From MrBeast to PewDiePie, you've probably clicked on the channels on this list more than once. Heck, you might even be a subscriber. Whether it's YouTubers doing weird challenges, hosting live mukbangs (eating shows), or playing games mic'd up, there's plenty to discover on a platform as diverse as this. Curious who tops the popularity charts? Here are the 20 biggest YouTube channels right now.
1. MrBeast
MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, currently has the most subscribed-to channel on the platform. He first amassed his views and following by doing odd, outlandish challenges (think counting to 100,000 and reading the entire dictionary), but now he's one of the highest-paying YouTubers out there who's earning enough to give away crazy stuff. A brand new Lamborghini, anyone?
2. T-Series
India has a massive population—over 1.4 billion, to be exact. So, it should come as no surprise that T-Series, the nation's biggest record label and film studio, earns the second spot on this list. Whether it's Indi-pop music or Hindi film soundtracks, people from all over the world are tuning in to hear—and see—what's next.
3. Cocomelon
If you have a kid at home, you're probably more than familiar with Cocomelon—a channel specializing in 3D animation of, well, toddlers dancing to nursery rhymes. Adults might not understand what it is about Cocomelon that babies love so much, but considering it's not only the third-most subscribed channel and second-most viewed, there's no denying the grip it has. Heck, their videos might even be the only thing that quiets your kids.
4. SET India
SET India, or Sony Entertainment Television India, is the fourth-most popular channel on the platform, and already the second from the country on this list. Again, we can probably attribute its mass following to the sheer population size of the nation, but on top of that, the Sony branding and the amount of videos they put out a day (30-40) likely have an influence, too.
5. Vlad and Niki
Vlad and Niki is a children's channel based on Russian-American siblings, Vlad and Niki Vashketov. Though their content isn't as education-based as Cocomelon or other channels, their videos are no less fun and entertaining to watch, especially for kids.
6. Kids Diana Show
Are you starting to see a trend? Yup, the sixth-most subscribed channel on YouTube belongs to one that's hosted by 11-year-old Ukrainian-American Eva Diana Kidisyuk, which features content of her and her brother, Roma, learning new things and taking on different challenges.
7. Like Nastya
Like Eva in Kids Diana Show, who was born in 2014, Nastya (Anastasia Sergeyevna Radzinskaya) is also the same age. Her channel is geared toward kids, with videos that are both educational and inspiring. So popular is Nastya, in fact, that she even scored herself a voicing role in the animated series, Weird Waters!
8. Stokes Twins
Chinese-American Alan and Alex Stokes run the Stokes Twins channel, which is currently the eighth-most followed on the platform. Their content is similar to MrBeast's, so viewers are treated to odd challenges, pranks, and just plain weird experiences every time a new video is released.
9. Zee Music Company
Coming in at ninth place is Zee Music Company, another channel originating from India. Considering Zee owns a large share of the Bollywood market, it's no surprise that they're up there in the number of subscribers alongside T-Series and SET India, even if they don't post as often in comparison.
10. PewDiePie
If you like playing games or went through a phase of watching game commentary online, you've likely heard of PewDiePie, run by Swedish YouTuber Felix Kjellberg. Though the channel once topped lists like these, it's fallen off the charts a little given Kjellberg's shift to focus on his personal life. Loyal fans, however, have stuck with him through the years and will no doubt continue to voice their support.
11. WWE
It's not just live wrestling that excites. As it turns out, people love watching WWE right in the comfort of their own home as well. Whether it's a highlight reel, a classic match-up, or an exclusive interview, this channel has it all for fans everywhere.
12. KIMPRO
KIMPRO is South Korean humor at its finest; after all, there's a reason they've amassed over 100 million followers to become not only the first South Korean YouTube channel to do so, but the most subscribed in the entire country. From funny shorts to themed mukbangs, KIMPRO knows exactly how to draw a crowd in.
13. Goldmines
If you're surprised that the 13th most-subscribed YouTube channel goes to India again, don't be. Goldmines is exactly as it says on the tin: a gold mine of dubbed Hindi films, songs, comedy scenes, and so much more. What more could a fan ask for?
14. Sony SAB
Need more Hindi content to fuel your week? Sony SAB has got you covered. Home to teasers, sitcoms, and drama series (not to mention plenty of beloved titles, like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah), this is the place to watch without the need for a streaming subscription.
15. BLACKPINK
Blackpink is a four-member Korean-pop idol group who have amassed as many fans in their home country as they have globally. The number of subscribers to their main YouTube channel doesn't lie, and you'll find anything from live concert clips to behind-the-scenes specials here.
16. ChuChu TV Nursery Rhymes & Kids Songs
You thought we were done with children's channels? Nope, we've got another one for you on this list: ChuChu TV Nursery Rhymes & Kids Songs. Featuring educational content in 2D and 3D animation, your kids can dance to classic and original tunes in English, Hindi, Tamil, and other languages.
17. Alan's Universe
If you're not familiar with Alan's Universe, it... can be difficult to summarize the kind of content you'll see. At its core, it's a compilation of episodes of an original drama series under the same name, but there's just enough oomph to each video to draw in kids and teens alike.
18. Zee TV
Looking for more Indian content? Zee TV has exactly what you're looking for. From full-length episodes to scene snippets, it's no wonder why this channel secures a spot on this list: it has everything fans of Indian entertainment could ask for.
19. Baby Shark - Pinkfong Kids’ Songs & Stories
Baby shark doo doo doo doo... If this song didn't immediately pop up in your head as soon as you read "Baby shark," the videos on this channel will definitely get it stuck in your brain. The viral song and dance have, after all, gotten so popular worldwide that 50 million viewers tune in every month.
20. 5-Minute Crafts
Want to learn a completely useless life hack that no one even asked for? 5-Minute Crafts has your back. Home to the most questionable DIY (do-it-yourself) experiments, you're bound to be weirded out watching these so-called "crafts" than actually be inspired to do them. But hey, it's the absurdity of the content that reels people in, so in that sense, the team behind 5-Minute Crafts is pretty smart.
