20 Actors You'll Be Shocked Don't Have A Star On The Walk Of Fame Yet

Massive Talent Missing Their Own Stars

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is home to some of the biggest names in movies. With thousands of people engraved on the strip, it’s hard to believe that some of Hollywood’s leading stars can’t be found there. Join us as we go through which 20 don’t have their names up yet.

1. Al Pacino

Yes, you read that correctly. Living legend Al Pacino doesn’t actually have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Despite dedicating decades of his life to immovable performances and some of the greatest films of our century, this titan turned down the offer to be part of the strip.

2. Leonardo DiCaprio

It took long enough for Leo to earn an Oscar, but we’re still waiting for his star. Though we may be waiting a long time since he, too, allegedly declined the offer. Even though DiCaprio’s been around since he was a kid, we guess he didn’t want all that talent acknowledged as a star.

3. Robert De Niro

Believe it or not, Al Pacino isn’t the only leading man in a Godfather flick who doesn’t have a star. Robert De Niro doesn’t either—and the reason is allegedly the same. Though he was nominated several times for one, rumor has it that he turned down the offer.

4. Brad Pitt

Oscar-winning heartthrob Brad Pitt doesn’t have a Hollywood star. It might surprise you to learn that about one of Hollywood’s very own stars, but no one really knows why he doesn’t. Pitt’s never come out about whether he was approached or declined an offer, but it’s crazy to imagine a world where they didn’t at least ask him!

5. Clint Eastwood

He’s been a cowboy, a boxing trainer, and a start-of-the-art director for some impressive films. He’s also another classic actor who reportedly turned down a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We’d call it nutty, but let’s be honest: his resume speaks for itself.

6. Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington is not only one of the best actors of our time, but he’s also adorably humble, and this all-around good guy doesn’t have a star of his own. Don’t let that keep you down, though. It was reported that he didn’t set a date for the mandatory public ceremony, so the offer was yanked off the table.

7. Madonna

You probably know her better as a pop star than an actress, but Madonna has seen plenty of screen time throughout her career. Despite branching out to the big screen, she also turned down the honor of a star.

8. Robert Downey Jr.

Plenty of Marvel heroes have their names on stars: Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Ryan Reynolds, to name a few. However, perhaps the biggest name of them all doesn’t have his own yet. RDJ even joked during Hemsworth’s ceremony that he was going to steal the star for himself—and hopefully he won’t have to!

9. James Earl Jones

Maybe you know him as Mufasa. Maybe it’s Darth Vader. Whoever it is, James Earl Jones’ iconic voice and impressive movie roles put him a step above the rest. However, that apparently wasn’t enough to earn him a star before his passing in 2024.

10. Angelina Jolie

Before your jaws hit the floor, this popular actress was yet another big name who turned down the nomination! It’s not really surprising when you think about it, especially since she’s devoted much of her time to charity work. Maybe she’s had enough of the limelight for one career.

11. Julia Roberts

Rom-com darling Julia Roberts was nominated for a star several times—and she reportedly turned them all down. The first nod was way back in the ‘90s at the height of her career, but she wasn’t interested then, and she still isn’t now!

12. Emma Stone

She’s funny, she’s down to earth, and she’s massively talented. Despite being the all-time triple treat, this shining star doesn’t have one of her own on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Though she hasn’t been around as long as some other big players, she’s still an Oscar-winning actress who has proven her chops time and again.

13. Jim Carrey

Now, here’s someone who has been around the block a few times. Don’t let this notorious funny man fool you—he’s more than capable of donning serious roles that show just how talented he is. This Canadian superstar was inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame, but has yet to see his printed name on Hollywood’s.

14. Emma Watson

After starring in one of the biggest franchises in history, Emma Watson practically called it quits. She took on the role of Belle in 2017 and starred in a few flicks here and there, but her career has mostly been a modest one. However, color us surprised to learn that she doesn’t have a star but Daniel Radcliffe does!

15. Christopher Walken

It’s almost hard to think of a movie Christopher Walken hasn’t been in. He’s even made his way into music videos! But the impressive icon doesn’t have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame—despite a dedicated Facebook group calling for one.

16. Ben Affleck

With all the hoopla between him and J.Lo, it’s easy to forget just how many movies Ben Affleck starred in. He’s been around since the ‘80s and has no shortage of genres under his belt, all ranging from serious flicks like Argo and Gone Girl to co-writing masterpieces like Good Will Hunting. Despite it all, he has yet to see his name on the strip.

17. George Clooney

Alright, we’ll admit it. George Clooney isn’t the best actor around, but it’s still surprising to see him missing on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That said, it’s been reported that his schedule prevented him from attending the ceremony, which basically nullified the unveiling.

18. Steve Martin

Steve Martin is one of the biggest names in comedy! He’s entertained us since the ‘70s, and we still can’t believe that this funny man doesn’t have his very own star. But hey, we can always dream.

19. Natalie Portman

We bit our nails and watched her losing battle against Anakin. We saw her wage war against her inner demons in Black Swan. But this leading lady doesn’t actually have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

20. Tobey Maguire

People don’t give Tobey Maguire enough credit. He starred in both comic book and classic literature adaptations. He stunned us with breathtaking performances in Brother and Seabiscuit—and still, this actor has yet to see his name on a star.
