Even celebrities fall in love, but sometimes this isn’t for the best. Some relationships may be admirable from afar, but others are downright messy and dramatic. With that in mind, here is the best and worst of celebrity dating.
1. Zendaya and Tom Holland
Zendaya is best known for her roles in Euphoria and Spider-Man, and has also put out music and worked in fashion. Meanwhile, Tom Holland is a British actor who is acclaimed for portraying Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Their relationship is the classic friends-to-lovers story after they worked on films together, and as of now, they’re engaged.
2. Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka
Neil Patrick Harris is beloved for his work on How I Met Your Mother, and he’s happily married to David Burtka, who is an actor and chef in his own right with appearances on Broadway. They’ve been together since 2004 and even parent twins together.

Barack and Michelle Obama were a power couple when Barack took the presidential seat. As the former president and first lady, the two are still going strong and have built a relationship on mutual respect and commitment to public service.

Selena Gomez has a riddled dating past but has found true love alongside Benny Blanco, who is a Grammy-nominated record producer behind many chart-topping hits. The two are not only engaged, but have put out an album together, and it’s clear to see that they share a soft, heartfelt love that is quite rare in Hollywood.

Serena is a tennis legend with 23 Grand Slam singles titles, while Alexis Ohanian is actually the co-founder of Reddit and a prominent tech entrepreneur. However, their relationship easily blends tech with sports, and they have been married since 2017.

Many people joke that Amal is actually way more impressive than George, and that isn’t far from the truth. While George is an Oscar-winning actor, Amal is a renowned international human rights lawyer, blending Hollywood glitz with philanthropy and intellect.

Everyone hoped that John Krasinski of Office fame would marry Pam, but instead, to everyone’s surprise, he ended up with acclaimed actress Emily Blunt. Their shared creativity even led to movies like The Quiet Place, and they continue to collaborate as co-workers and as husband and wife.

Simone is one of the world’s most decorated gymnasts with multiple Olympic medals under her belt, while Jonathan is an NFL player with the Green Bay Packers. They both mutually support each other’s demanding athletic careers and have been married since April 2023.

This royal couple is clearly a century favorite, as Prince Harry married an actress from Suits. Both of them share a love for philanthropic causes and have been married since 2018.

This is a great blending of diverse backgrounds, as Nick Jonas is an American singer while Priyanka is an actress and former Miss World from India’s Bollywood. Megan Fox has been through many trials and tribulations and is still considered a beautiful and talented actress. However, Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) is a rapper and actor known for his awkward and edgy persona. Their relationship clearly comes across as chaotic and dramatic, and they called off their engagement in 2024, only to welcome their daughter a year later.
2. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez
Ben has been in and out of so many relationships, it’s weird to watch him work at this point. Meanwhile, Jennifer has clearly been one of the girls on his radar, as they rekindled their early 2000s romance in 2022 when they got married. But many believe this may be little more than a publicity stunt due to the overexposure.

3. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Kim Kardashian already comes from a messy family line with her claim to fame and reality show. But rapper Kanye West is under a lot of scrutiny for his outlandish claims and tweets. They were divorced in 2022 after a decade together, but they continue to be under fire due to their publicity stunts.
4. Kylie Jenner and Tyga
Kylie is another TV personality while Tyga is a rapper who gained notoriety for their relationship, as there were legal connotations attached. Not only did the age gap draw criticism, but the songs inspired from their relationship just make matters worse.
5. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag
This couple has been married since 2009 and they’re more than happy to show up on reality TV and let everyone know how in love they are. Their relationship is full of desperate publicity stunts and over-the-top behavior in attempts to retain the spotlight.

At first, it seemed perfectly logical for two R&B singers to end up together. They dated on and off until 2013 until it became very clear that Chris was being violent, at which point the public reacted with widespread outrage leading to legal involvement.
7. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
Everyone remembers Tom Cruise jumping on Oprah’s couch because he was so in love, but lots of people recall that as being performative. After being married in 2006, the couple divorced in 2012, at which point Holmes also departed from Scientology, making things even weirder.
8. Justin and Hailey Bieber
These two are apparently married and have even had a child recently. However, Justin continues to be hung up on his exes, making vague tweets about Selena and even bashing his wife publicly on Mother’s Day. Yikes.

Jay Z is currently under fire for other legal issues, but even back in the 2000s, he was under scrutiny for infidelity. The world was shocked that this rapper would cheat on such a beautiful and iconic singer and actress. Regardless, they have been married since 2008.
10. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart
These two talented actors fell in love on the set of Twilight and dated from 2009 to 2013. That is until Stewart cheated on him in a highly publicized affair with a director. What a terrible thing to do to a person.
